This is a deep, beautiful tanzanite blue pendant necklace, which has such a gorgeous & vibrant 9mm (2.75 carat) center stone that is bezel-set. It looks very blue when worn with other blue tone clothing, but it can also take on a slightly purple hue when worn with shades or purple…that's the beauty of a tanzanite colored stone. The center is surrounded by a halo border of tiny, round synthetic diamonds, which frame and offset the beautiful blue center so elegantly.  The entire pendant measures one-half inch in size.  It slides along the chain gracefully, and can be worn anywhere between 16″ – 18″ long, depending on where along the extender chain of small loops you lock the spring-ring lock into in the back.  This item is made out of nickel-free sterling silver sealed in rhodium-platinum to resist tarnishing when cared for properly.
