This long necklace is a modern, new twist on the typical (and forever popular) “diamonds by the yard” chain necklaces.
This 42″ necklace is made up of 108 bezel-set rectangle, baguette stones. These man-made, synthetic “diamonds” measure 5mm X 2.5mm each (.30 carats). These stones run continuously from front to back on the entire chain necklace, and each is connected to the next by two tiny loops. Although this does close in back with a typical spring-ring lock, you can easily slip this on & off right over your head. If you wish to double it, and make it look like you have two shorter layered strands on, then you would need to use the lock.

This comes in silver sealed in 18kt yellow gold, or sealed in rhodium platinum (listed in another listing by the same name).
